Now through Aug. 1/WABASH – 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. (2 p.m. Sat.) at the Wabash County Museum. Explore the Museum with hands-on learning, all while earning exciting prizes. In July, the scavenger hunt will be completely refreshed, giving returning explorers a whole new set of challenges to complete. This program is a fantastic way to spark curiosity and get kids to interact with our exhibits in a meaningful way. Admission is $4 for ages 2-12 and $6 for adults. Free Movie at the Park

July 12/SOUTH BEND – The History Museum visits Howard Park with a “mini-exhibit” on the league that inspired the movie, A League of Their Own, the All-American Girls Professional Baseball League! Hear from the museum’s Registrar, Catherine Page-Vanore, prior to the screening at 6:20pm, and see artifacts and memorabilia from the movie and the league. Plus giveaways, a chance for young people to throw the ball, Waka Dog Cafe hotdogs, and Michiana Jugglers. This event will honor the legacy of former South Bend Blue Sox All-American Girls Professional Baseball player, Betsy “Sockum” Jochum, who recently passed away on May 31 at the age of 104. Cooter’s Cruise

July 12/VINCENNES –  Starting at noon at the Burkhart Insurance Lot on 1st Street.. There will be a benefit ride, a poker run and all motorcycles, classics, 4x4s, jeeps and daily drivers are invited to participate. Come for a BBQ dinner starting at 5 p.m.. Live music entertainment will begin at 6 p.m. featuring Supermatic. Win prizes by participating in the 50/50 Raffle. Knox County Fair

July 14-19/BICKNELL –  With a full slate of of events listed on the calendar, start planning now so you don’t miss what’s most important to you. The Grandstand features a tractor pull, a rodeo, pig penning, a junkyard race, demo derby and a show & shine – all starting at 8 p.m. (except the Tractor pull at 5:30 p.m. Don’t miss the various livestock shows and judging. each day with a livestock auction scheduled for Friday, July 18 starting at 5:30 p.m. Meet Little Mr. & Miss at the VU Pavillion. There will also be a tiny tot contest, pedal tractor pull, cornhole tournament and comedy show in the VU Pavillion. Events and animal shows begin daily at 8 a.m. Carnival rides begin at 5 p.m. and the fair closes each evening at 10 p.m.
