4 fairies drinking tea May 11/SOUTH BEND – 2-4 p.m. at the History Museum. Be enchanted with the wonders of spring at this tea taking place in the elegant Leighton Gallery. The event features tables of eight, each decorated to reflect all the charms of fairies. This one-of-a-kind experience offers a menu of savories, sweets, and classic teas, and is followed by a private tour of the Oliver Mansion, plus a delightful treat for young ones. Tickets are $30/general; $15/youth 6-17; and $5/children 5 and under. Fairy Gnome & Troll Festival

" "May 18/KENDALLVILLE – 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. This free, family-friendly event takes place in Historic Downtown for kids of all ages. Visitors can meet Tinkerbell, play carnival games, and attend a fairy tea party. There will also be a bubble party, tasty food and enjoy live magical entertainment. The purchase of a $25 Royal Pass allows a private tea party with a fairy princess, a sword fighting lesson with Peter Pan, story time in the fairy village and a free children’s book. Spring Tractor Drive

Antique tractor in a barnMay 18/GREENCASTLE – Starts at 9 a.m. at the Putnam County Fairgrounds organized by the Putnam County Antique Tractor & Machinery Association. Meet at the fairgrounds by 8:30 a.m. as the drive will head out right at 9 a.m. The path will go through Clinton Falls and lunch will be served. A head count is needed by May 9.
