Evergy Festival of Lights

Thru Dec. 30/KINGSVILLE – 4-10 p.m. Wednesdays through Sundays at Powell Gardens. More than 20 miles of lights turn this botanical garden into a winter wonderland. Enjoy a breath of fresh air during a hectic holiday season. Bundle up with family and friends while you stroll a lighted outdoor path, pausing for plenty of Instagram and holiday-card worthy photo moments along the way.  Encounter immersive botanic installations that show off the exceptional architecture and landscape elements of the Gardens and accentuating the natural joy of the most festive season. This year featured new media artist, Kevin Heckart, transforms two sites with interactive light displays and a new festival feature, the Light Labyrinch, promises an adventure for all ages! A Christmas Carol Stroll

Nov. 30, Dec. 7, 14, 21/ST. CHARLES – 6-8:30 p.m. on Main Street. Main Street USA is transformed into the foggy streets of 1840s London where you are invited to enter the world of Charles Dickens’ enduring holiday classic, A Christmas Carol. Become a part of the story as memorable scenes and characters hop off the page and come to life before your very eyes. Walk in the footsteps of Ebenezer Scrooge as you experience his adventures with the ghosts of Christmas Past, Present, and Yet-to-Come firsthand. Along the way, be sure to collect the six commemorative “Chapter Cards” that will retell the abbreviated tale of A Christmas Carol. Victorian carolers, lamplighters, music hall performers, vintage toy makers and perhaps even Queen Victoria herself!


Christkindl Market

Nov 18 – Dec 30 / ST. LOUIS – Open Daily from 4 – 10 pm Located underneath the historic train shed at St. Louis Union Station, the “Christkindl Market” located on the Purina Performance Plaza is a wonderful setting to do some holiday shopping, stroll around with a hot chocolate from our Anheuser-Busch Beverage container or enjoy one of our many Holiday Fire Shows on the lake! Don’t miss the opportunity to visit this new experience and activities within the Christkindl Market! (Closed Thanksgiving & Christmas Day)



Nov. 26/JEFFERSON CITY – 8 a.m. – 2 p.m. at Central Church. Craft Show Market, baked goods, and a breakfast bonanza.   More than 20 booths of locally handcrafted items; the bake sale will highlight special Christmas cookies and German favorites and select-your-own-variety cookie trays; and the Breakfast Bonanza will feature our made-from-scratch biscuits. Breakfast will be served from 8 a.m. to noon All you can eat price is $12 for adults and $6 for ages 6-12. Ages 5 and under are free with adult.
