Ice Skating

Now Thru March 5/ALBANY – Noon to 8 p.m. daily at the Empire State Plaza Ice Rink. Admission is free. Skate rentals are $4 for adults, $3 for ages 12 and under. A series of learning clinics will be offered this season for all ages and skill levels. Every Saturday offers Hannaford free skate rentals. Fishing and Outdoor Expo

Feb. 16-19/NIAGARA – “The Teaching Fishing Show” is open from 12-8 p.m. Thurs., 12-9 p.m. Fri, 9 a.m. – 7 p.m. Sat., and 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. Sun. at the Niagara Falls Convention Center.  The goal of the event is to promote and teach fishing to anglers of all specialties, with exhibitions, classes and opportunities to connect with experts in the field. With access to over 300 hours of fishing education and 170 booths of fishing exhibitors, this is the largest freshwater fishing show in New York State, and among the largest fishing shows anywhere in the Great Lakes.
