Binghamton Pond Festival

Through Feb. 1/CHENANGO VALLEY – Come out for some winter fun and celebrate all things hockey held at the Chenango Valley State Park, it is one of the few outdoor hockey events using mechanical refrigeration, allowing for great ice in temperatures exceeding 50 degrees or in full sun. Catch thrilling tournaments, hockey trivia, free hockey lessons for kids, and even fireworks! Through March 20/BUFFALO  – At Canalside Buffalo. The popular Ice Bumper Cars will make their return to Canalside this season! You’ll laugh, scream and bump into friends and neighbors on the ice in these oversize bumper “cars”.  Be sure to reserve a slot, because they fill up fast.  More fun than you’ve had in winter in a long time! Funky Ice Fest

Jan. 31-Feb.1/LAKE GEORGE – 4-8 p.m. at the Adirondack Pub & Brewery. It’s time to get down and get funky where everything will be ice. Discover the beauty of winter, embrace the cold, and conquer the ice. Browse a gallery of hand-carved ice sculptures, chill out with a hand-crafted cocktail or local beer at one of the ice bars, and bust a move under the disco ball to your favorite 70s funk hits. Saranac Lake Winter Carnival

Jan. 31-Feb. 9/SARANAC LAKE – One of the oldest winter carnivals in the United States. celebrating all the brilliance of Winter through parades, sports events, fireworks, family gatherings and many other festivities including of course Our Winter Carnival Ice Palace!This year’s theme is Music Legends.
