Mesa Music Festival
April 13-15/MESA- The Mesa Music Festival, powered by Amazon and Visit Mesa, is the largest free emerging artist festival of its kind in the country and will feature over 200 performances from artists around the world. Attendees can look forward to enjoying a celebration of music, art and entertainment in Downtown Mesa, April 13-15. The festival’s main headliner, Everclear, will be performing on the Mesa Sessions Stage, located in center square at Macdonald and Main Street. Festival goers will find more unique musical talents throughout Main Street while exploring Downtown Mesa’s sidewalk cafes, coffee houses, and breweries. Participating venues will include The Nile Theater, Oro Brewing, Chupacabra Taproom, Jarrod’s Coffee, Tea & Gallery, Smith-o-later and more local businesses. In addition to live music, the festival will offer food trucks, vendors and a beer garden. The festival will also provide artists with the opportunity to learn more about the industry through mentoring sessions and one-on-one time with industry professionals. Mesa Music Festival will kick off festivities on Thurs., April 13 with Keynote Speaker, Martin Atkins, a former member of Public Image Ltd and Killing Joke. Atkins also founded industrial iconic groups including Pigface, The Damage Manual, and Murder Inc., and has contributed to Nine Inch Nails and Ministry during their most celebrated periods. Spring Market At Bell Bank Park
April 15/MESA- The Spring Market at Bell Bank Park is jam-packed with family fun. April 15th come down to the park from 10am-4pm for over 150 vendors, food trucks, live music, activities for kids, a photo booth, drinks, and more! Tickets cost $10 and include parking fees. April 22/PHOENIX- Southwest Human Development partners with Paradise Valley Community College for Festival of Tales literacy event. FREE to attend! Located at Paradise Valley Community College from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Advanced registration is suggested at festivaloftales.com. Festival of Tales provides 5,000+ books to Valley children and their families. Games, music, story-telling, arts and crafts and free books to children.
