Coca-Cola 600

 May 23-25/CHARLOTTE – At the Charlotte Motor Speedway. Arrive early to experience Charlotte Motor Speedway’s Fan Zone before racing action kicks off at 8:30 p.m. on Friday with the NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series NC Education Lottery 200. On Saturday, Xfinity Series drivers will battle NASCAR Cup Series stars during the BetMGM 300 beginning at 4:30 p.m. Along with NASCAR’s toughest test of man and machine, Coca-Cola 600 festivities include honoring the service men and women of the U.S. Armed Forces during a patriotic pre-race salute to the troops  including Military Appreciation activities and performances, a pre-race concert, driver appearances and much more. Dino Days

May 31/GRAHAM – 7 p.m. at the beer garden at Forgotten Road Ales. Celebrating National Dinosaur Day and all things dinosaur. This all ages event offers a variety of activities including a best dressed dinosaur contest, a t-rex relay and a dino-nugget eating contest. Experience live music, food trucks and plenty of Forgotten Road Ales brews to sample in Downtown Graham. There is no admission fee to this event. Trains and Trails Festival

June 5-7/OLD FORT – Come celebrate the rich history of our Blue Ridge Mountain community by focusing on its pathways and connections through the town’s notable railroad and Pisgah National Forest history. Visit our Vendor Village, grab a bite at the food trucks and hit the trails with our multiple guided hikes. Kids will love the duck race down Mill Creek, scavenger hunt, and a ride on a miniature train. This 3-day event includes multiple presentations around town including the Mountain Bike Film Festival.
