Revolutionary War Reenactment
Feb. 22-23/CURRIE – Beginning at 10 a.m. both days. The 249th Anniversary Celebration of the Battle of Moores Creek Bridge commemorates the first significant victory for American soldiers in the Revolutionary War against the British. Held on the grounds of the battle, the weekend features historical reenactments, educational programs, guided tours, and various family-friendly activities that highlight the significance of the battle in securing North Carolina’s role in the fight for Independence.
