Special Hicks Christmas Activities

Thru Dec. 31/WESTBURY – In the Christmas Gallery  of Hicksnurseries is an all new animated children’s  story. This walkthrough Christmas story features Santa, his elves and friends as they prepare for the big day! A festive animated story for the young and young at heart! Please bring your donation of a non-perishable food item(s) for Long Island Cares and drop off at the end of your walkthrough. Have your picture taken with Santa; mail a letter to Santa and get a reply. A live brass band will perform from noon to 3 p.m. Nov. 25 – Dec. 17 and a Christmas Choir will perform 4-8 p.m. Nov. 25-Dec. 3. All events are free. Holiday Train Show

Nov. 17 – Jan. 15/BRONX – 10 am-6 pm at the New York Botanical Garden. See more than 25 G-scale model trains and trolleys hum along nearly a half-mile of track. Don’t forget to look up—NYC bridges come together to create an aerial display of trains soaring overhead! More than 190 scaled iconic buildings and structures such as the Brooklyn Bridge, Yankee Stadium, and the Statue of Liberty are displayed under thousands of twinkling lights.
