Watermelon Festival

July 19-21/FAIR BLUFF – Fair Bluff is “One in a Melon!” A family fun event that includes pageants, parade, entertainment, vendors and more. A street dance featuring the Catalinas will be at Riverside Drive  from 6:30-9:30 p.m. on Friday. Advance tickets are $10 per person ($12 the day of). On festival day, entries for the best tasting watermelon contest will be held from 7-9:30 a.m. The actual contest begins at 10 a.m. During the day, enjoy arts and crafts booths, a dunking booth and live entertainment. Watermelon slices to eat will be available all day. Other activities are a parade, watermelon seed spitting contest, auction and duck race. >MORE
