LuminoCity’s Dino Safari Festival

dinosaur cartoon adNow through June 15/BUFORD – 4:30 – 9:30 p.m. at Sugarloaf Mills in the Mall of Georgia.  An awe-inspiring prehistoric world, bringing life-sized, roaring dinosaurs to life with vibrant light art. The festival combines cutting-edge animatronics featuring over 70 life-sized dinosaurs, along with hundreds of stunning light sculptures. Interactive Dino-themed attractions include the Dino Bounce House, Dino Speedway, a Safari Train Ride, and much more. Aspiring paleontologists can dig for fossils and treasures in the Safari Dig and Fossil Hunt. Acoustic Sunsets

May 22 & 29/HIAWASSEE – 6-9 p.m. at the Georgia Mountain Fairgrounds. Enjoy an evening at Hamilton Gardens pavilion  for a Summer Acoustic Sunset Series! There will be a food court, wine bar & talented musicians. Thursdays May 8th – May 29th from 6pm-9pm! Admission is FREE! Donations appreciated.  The event is rain or shine. Memorial Day Commemoration

May 24/RICHMOND HILL – 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Fort McAllister State Park. Join us for a Memorial Day commemoration. Help us pay tribute to our fellow patriots who died while serving in the US military. Living history interpretations will take place throughout the day including musket and cannon firings. Tour the fort, museum, and grounds of Fort McAllister along the banks of the Ogeechee River. Regular Fort admission prices apply. 2 p,m, guided tour $8 – $15.
