" "Now thru March 30/GOLD CANYON – 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. Escape the modern world and immerse yourself in the enchanting realm of medieval chivalry, feasting and shopping at the open-air destination. Experience the middle ages in a giant, costumed fantasy village with thirteen stages of continuous live entertainment, a 30-acre outdoor circus, medieval arts and crafts fair with more than 200 artisans, a jousting tournament and a feast. Open 9 weekends with a different them each weekend. New this year is a Pleasure Feast menu and several new talented artisans. Tickets are $36 for adults and $24 for ages 5-12. Gold Rush Days/Sr. Pro Rodeo

" "Feb. 13-16/WICKENBURG – Features a family-fun carnival, senior pro rodeo, artisans’ fair, parade, classic car show, gold panning and more. The Gold Rush Car Show is Fri. from 9 a.m. – 2 p.m. with only the first 75 cars accepted.  Trick roper Will Roberts will entertain Friday and Saturday mornings while the Grammy nominated band, Little Texas. will perform on stage at 7:30 p.m. both nights. Admission for the rodeo is $15 for adults and $5 ages 6-17.

 

 

Gem & Mineral Show

" "Feb. 13-16/TUCSON – 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. at the Tucson Convention Center.  This is the world’s largest, oldest and most prestigious gem and mineral show, and is open to amateur and professional collectors, artisans and the public. In addition to the thousands of vendors selling a variety of minerals, gems, jewelry, lapidary, accessories and other goods, some shows will host special exhibits by museums and individual collectors, lectures, seminars and children’s programs open to all.
