Sandpoint Winter Carnival | Sandpoint

February 16–25/SANDPOINT  – Enjoy live music, a light parade, fireworks and all kinds of fun and flavors at the Sandpoint Winter Carnival. The event is capped with the annual K-9 Keg Pull, featuring dogs of all sizes pulling everything from beer cans to full-size kegs on a snow-covered course. Other activities and events include The Parade of Lights, the K9 Keg Pull, Schweitzer fireworks and a Chili Cookoff. Live music at The Hive downtown from 7-11 p.m. will be the Paper Flowers Remembering Fleetwood Mac concert. Teton Valley Skijoring

Feb. 24–25/DRIGGS –  At theTeton County Fairgrounds. Witness one of the most unique and iconic winter sports first-hand. This two-day skijoring event honors Western traditions with horse competitions and contestants from all over the U.S. Races are from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. both days.
