" "March 28- April 13/SAVANNAH – Known for its unique mix of jazz, classical and American and global roots music programs presented in venues across Savannah’s National Historic Landmark District. The festival’s kick-off concert will showcase GRAMMY Award-winning jazz vocalist Samara Joy, preceded by the annual Spring Fling, a party to benefit SMF’s year-round artistic and education programs. Other artists this spring include Ricky Skaggs & Kentucky Thunder, Southern rockers North Mississippi Allstars with blues icon Bobby Rush, Oumou Sangaré and many more. April 6/TIFTON – Visitors can enjoy a celebration of the rich, rural heritage of South Georgia during the annual Folklife Festival on April 4 at the Georgia Museum of Agriculture and Historic Village at Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College. April 6/IRWINTON – 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. This year, there are more vendors to be present than ever before. Who makes the best banana pudding? You decide when you make your rounds on the Puddin’ Path and taste for yourself. Puddin’ Path starts at 10 a.m. Banana carving contest is 10 a.m. – 12:45 p.m. You have one hour to complete your carving. There is no cost to enter. All ages welcome!
