Outdoor Ice Skating

Now through Feb. 22/ANNAPOLIS – NEW at the Annapolis Town Center. This pop-up attraction transforms the Boathouse Pavillion in the newly developed East Village into a winter wonderland and community gathering spot for all ages. The area includes a full-size 50×80 recreational outdoor skating rink, skate rentals, free on-site parking, festive music, and lighting! General admission tickets to skate are $11 for non-residents, $7 for residents, and $7 for groups of eight or more. Tickets are on a first-come-first-serve basis and guests can bring their own skates or rentals will be available to purchase. Dancing with the Stars

Jan. 6/NATIONAL HARBOR – 8 p.m. at the Teater at MGM National Harbor. The version of Dancing with the Stars that comes to venues all around the country has a lot in common with its TV iteration. It features some of your favorite celebrity guests from the series as well as some of the dance routines that have proven to be the most popular with fans of the show. The tour has presented everybody from comedians like Kel Mitchell to country singers like Lauren Alaina, TV stars like Kate Flannery, and many more. Preakness LIVE Culinary, Art & Music Festival

May 20-21/BALTIMORE – Celebrating the best of Baltimore on Black-eyed Susan Day as part of the Preakness Weekend. Preakness is an annual horse race for three-year-olds at Pimlico racetrack. It is the second race of horse racing’s Triple Crown after the Kentucky Derby.  Baltimore 1/ST will champion the race’s connection to Baltimore by leveraging the Preakness platform to highlight and impact local culture year-round across the pillars of music, art, fashion, culinary, sports and community, featuring both international and local Baltimore talent. Performances by GRAMMY Award winners Ms. Lauryn Hill and Megan Thee Stallion, NAACP Image Award winner D-Nice and Baltimore-bred talent including rising singer Brittney Spencer, Darin Atwater & The Soulful Symphony, plus a performance of “The Star-Spangled Banner” by WanMor and more. Local talent will also perform on the Charm City Stage throughout the evening.
