Oct. 5/SALEM – 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. downtown on East Main St. In conjunction with the SALEM APPLE BUTTER FESTIVAL, we are hosting a one-day event where guests can tour our historic cabins and see special demonstrations throughout the day including making apple butter tinsmithing blacksmithing pottery candle dipping corn grinding and spinning. We will also demonstrate fireplace frying of donuts in a kettle. Outdoor games will be available as will limited refreshments including beverages, the kettle fried donuts and maple cotton candy.
