Maple Sugaring Fest

March 3, SUMMIT – 1 pm – 4 p.m. at Reeves Reed Arboretum. Enjoy a brisk winter afternoon learning the steps involved in turning tree sap into delicious maple syrup. The whole family will enjoy spending the day outdoors, hiking on trails, and partaking in a Maple Sugaring Challenge! Also enjoy some hot chocolate, maple vendors, and more. It’s going to be a sweet day. This event will be held rain or shine, no refunds. Cost for the: Maple Fest is FREE for RRA Members and children under 3. Spring Craft Morristown

March 8 – 10/MORRISTOWN – At the Morristown Armory. Spend the day shopping for uncommon and one-of-a-kind gifts for every age, taste, and budget from 175 of America’s finest craft artists. Find original fashions, accessories, and jewelry; functional and sculptural works in ceramics, glass, metal, fiber, wood, and mixed media; fine art painting, printmaking, drawing and photography, and more! Greenberg’s Toy & Train Show

March 9 & 10/EDISON – At the New Jersey Convention and Exposition Center
The largest and longest-running train and toy show in the northeast, Greenberg’s has been running train shows since 1976. The shows feature thousands of trains and collectible toys for sale, hundreds of merchandising tables, huge operating layouts, free modeling seminars and more. There will be a free test track – test run your trains at the show. Cost: $10 – $12. Kids under 11 are free. Free parking. The Chocolate Expo

March 9 & 10/EDISON –10 a.m. – 6 p.m. at the New Jersey Expo Center. The Chocolate Expo has by far become the northeast’s largest chocolate-themed event. The Chocolate Expo offers tastings & sales of chocolates, baked goods, specialty foods, gelato, cheeses and much more from local and regional vendors. Depending on location, tastings and sales of wines, beers and other “adult beverages” may also be offered. Each Chocolate Expo event combines chocolate and food with a dash of fun such as unique exhibits, performances, demonstrations and/or celebrity appearances. Tickets are $20. Ages 5-10 are $10.
