Moosestompers Weekend

Jan. 31-Feb. 2/HOULTON – a cherished winter festival that brings the community together for a weekend of frosty fun and heartwarming camaraderie. Held annually the first weekend in February, this event features a variety of activities that celebrate the joys of winter. Families can enjoy ice fishing on the serene Nickerson Lake, where the crisp air and tranquil surroundings create a perfect setting for this beloved pastime. At Community Park, the giant Soap Box Derby Hill becomes a playground for all ages, with thrilling sledding adventures that promise laughter and excitement. The Miller Civic Center transforms into a winter wonderland for ice skating, where skaters of all skill levels glide gracefully across the ice, surrounded by the festive atmosphere while skate rentals and concessions are available.
