Potato Blossom Festival

" "July 12-20/FORT FAIRFIELD – Celebration of agriculture with live music, fantastic food, dozens of family-friendly events, one of the largest parades in New England & capped off with fireworks over the Aroostook River! When the potato blossoms are in full bloom, festival features fun for the entire family and is one of the oldest and most established festivals in Maine. This year there will be live entertainment, rides for the kids, athletic events like the traditional potato picking contests and mashed potato wrestling, and more. Most events are free. Wells Pow Wow

" "July 19-20/WELLS – 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. At Wells Beach Harbor Park. Watch traditional Native American drumming and dancing, enjoy food and vendors, and sign up for a raffle. Hosted by: NH Intertribal Native American Council & Wells Chamber of Commerce. There will be drums, dancers, food and vendors with quality Native American crafts supplies, collectibles, clothing accessories, and beads available for sale. Maine Lobster Fest

There will be a seafood cooking contest, the international great crate race, a parade dog show and road race fun run and walk. The Maine Lobster Festival is run exclusively by volunteers and all proceeds are donated back to the Midcoast Maine communities each year.
