CELEBRATE KENNEDY & KING MEMORIAL APRIL 4
Thursday, April 4 commemorates the anniversary of Robert Kennedy’s extraordinary speech in Indianapolis when Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. was shot. Join the Kennedy King Memorial Initiative, Mayor Hogsett and local dignitaries in a free Commemoration Ceremony at 5 p.m. of the historic speech delivered by Sen. Kennedy in Indianapolis on the night Dr. King was assassinated. Personal comments will be made by Billie Breaux and Jim Trulock, who were in the park 51 years ago.
