Winter Fun Weekend

Jan. 7-29/NEBRASKA CITY – At Arbor Lodge State Historical Park. In recognition of World Day of the Snowman (January 18), we will have fun make-and-take activities January 14 and 15 from 1 p.m.-3 p.m. Explore special displays filled with antique ice skates, sleds, snow shoes, snowmen, and more. St. Cecilia Flower Festival

 

 

Jan. 27-29/OMAHA – Located in the Cultural Center and Gallery of the church. Experience the church through the beauty of flowers and music! This ever-popular event returns for its 38th year as local floral designers and musicians present a burst of vibrant colors in the depth of winter.  View over 30 floral creations. Running with the Bulls

Feb. 11/VALENTINE – An activity connected to the annual Heart City Bull Bash; a Fun Run/Walk is scheduled to begin at 11 a.m. on Saturday.  All ages and abilities may participate!  Cost for the race is $15 (for all ages) and includes a t-shirt if registered by January 31st.

Registration may be mailed to Heart City Bull Bash P.O. Box 66 Valentine, NE 69201 or returned in person to Sandhills State Bank, Valentine.  Race day registration and check in will begin at 10:15 a.m. at the Comfort Inn.
