We are home to adventure, history and hospitality and the only place in the Western Hemispher that you can view the “Moonbow.” It may be observed under a full moon and a clear sky. An arch of white light is usually produced at the base of Falls and continues downstream. Also called a white rainbow or lunar rainbow, it is formed just like a rainbow. Light is refracted in tiny water droplets and appears for the two or so days, as long as the sky is clear, on either end of the full moon. Generations of people have visited here to see this natural phenomenon.
