" "April 27/TRAVERSE CITY – The Arcturos Dining Series at Black Star Farms in Suttons Bay, Michigan is a wine-paired culinary experience that celebrates the winery’s vineyard-to-table practices. The evening begins with a welcome reception and craft cocktail, followed by dinner at a large feasting table. The chef will share the inspiration behind the evening’s menu, which is inspired by local, seasonal ingredients sourced from Northern Michigan’s finest farms, along with Black Star Farms’ own in Suttons Bay.

 

Gilmore Piano Festival

May 3/MARSHALL – At the Franke Center for the Arts. To promote and develop world-class keyboard musical experiences that inspire present and future artists and audiences. The Gilmore Young Artist Award is presented every two years to single out the most promising of the new generation of U.S.-based pianists, age 22 and younger. The Gilmore Young Artist who will be performing at The Franke this season is Kasey Shao. Tulip Time Festival

May 4-12/HOLLAND – The Tulip Time Festival does not occur in a gated, single location. Over 8 days in May, events and activities take place in different locations, most within a 4-mile radius of Downtown Holland. Tulips can be seen for no charge in public parks and along downtown streets. Many independent attractions have tulips and happenings during the week of the festival and beyond. Berkley Days Hometown Fair

May 9-12/BERKLEY – The Midway offers thrills, fun and excitement with rides and games for all ages. Fair food is always a fan favorite. Indulge your taste buds with elephant ears, cotton candy, corn dogs, refreshments and so much more. The Berkley Days Festival of Races 5k/10k/1 mile is the second longest running race in Michigan.  It is held on Saturday morning of Berkley Days. Berkley Days offers live entertainment, a beer tent, robotics, and a vendor village along with other events throughout the weekend.
