Ohio Valley Antique Machinery Show Aug. 11-14

GEORGETOWN – Come out and see antique machinery in action when you visit the 52nd annual Ohio Valley Antique Machinery Show. Slated for August 11 – 14, there will be daily demonstrations for block making, rock crushing, plowing, threshing and more. Experience a working sawmill, shingle mill, veneer machine, and blacksmith shop,
Tractors, engines and equipment featured for 2022 will be Ford Tractors and Panzer Garden Tractors. Don’t miss the four different parades of participating equipment owners along with antique and garden tractor pull competitions, antiques on display and great finds for sale at the flea market. The ladies are sure to enjoy all the crafts inside and out. Step back in time when you visit the historic Old Village featuring a covered bridge, log cabin and general store.
The main highlight of interest is the exhibit of antique and classic tractors, gas engines, steam engines and equipment. Great food including fresh steaming corn will keep you from going away hungry. Stay for the nightly entertainment and on-site camping is available. Join in the fun of the horseshoe tournament Saturday at noon. On Sunday, participate in the antique car cruise -in.
Live musical entertainment will be presented on the main stage each night. The Sunburners will perform Thursday at 7 p.m. Combine crystal-clear audio production with a high-energy show and immense amounts of crowd interaction. Throw in some easy-to-work-with professionalism with fun-loving attitudes, and get ready to party with the best – THE SUNBURNERS ISLAND PARTY BAND.
Friday and Saturday afternoon brings The Living Statue to the stage with Hammertowne, a traditional bluegrass band from Eastern Kentucky, performing Friday night at 7 p.m. Their performances have been accurately described as “Aggressive,” “High Energy,” and “Undiluted.”
On Saturday morning at 10 a.m., the Liberty Band begins the live entertainment with Back Up and Push following at noon. Country Thunder will perform traditional and modern country favorites along with southern and classic rock tunes.
