Spring Out

April 23/SAUK CENTRE– Located at The Shed. This is a full day of crafts and vendors, food and at 4 p.m. a game of Purse Bingo. There will be a live band from noon to 2 p.m. DJ Pete will provide entertainment from 3-4 p.m. Come out for a day of shopping, fun, games, demonstrations and an evening of Purse Bingo. Midwest Music Fest

April 29-30/WINONA – Featuring regional acts from all genres of music and performing at multiple locations in downtown Winona. festival includes headliners POLICA, HALEY, and over 70 regional and local artists. The mission of the MWMF is to promote music and art in the region, creating opportunities for artists, stimulating downtown economic development, and providing diverse educational resources for artists, community members, and children. Horse Expo

April 14-16/MINNEAPLIS-ST.PAUL – Minnesota’s largest equine consumer trade show with hundreds of exhibitor booths in six State Fair buildings and lining the streets of the Expo grounds creating an easy access marketplace for anyone wanting to find merchandise and information related to horses/owners. Easily compare brands, prices and features. Horses representing unique breeds and nationally know clinicians and speakers are featured during the Horse Expo. Free pony and wagon rides are available to Expo-goers. Whether you own a horse or wish you did – the Horse Expo is for all who enjoy being around horses.

Lipmasters Fishing Tournament

April 16/RUSHFORD -Located at Nordic Lanes. Rough fish tournament on Southeast Minnesota’s Root River. Registration from 10 a.m. to 12 noon at Nordic Lanes in Rushford. Fish the Root River from 12 noon to 5 p.m. Weigh-in begins back at Nordic Lanes at 5 p.m. Open to all ages, including a kids’ division. Rain or shine. Call 507-864-7799 for more information
