Downhome cooking, soul food, skins, fish, homemade ice cream. Children’s tent with art activities, pottery making, face painting. and games. This free event is a unique celebration which brings together craft persons, musicians, dancers, storytellers, food specialists, artists and community workers–all of whom are considered bearers of the traditions and folkways of the West Alabama region. 29th Annual South Alabama Pro Rodeo Classic

" "August 30-31/OZARK – Presented by Frontier Classic Rodeo Co., come see bull riding, team roping, barrel racing, calf roping, bareback riding, saddle bronc riding and breakaway roping, entertainment, vendors and more. Gates open at 5 p.m. Mutton Bustin’ begins at 6:30 p.m. before the rodeo at 7:30 p.m. Friday night live music will be brought by the Byrd Family Bluegrass & Gospel before the rodeo.
