Don’t miss the new in 2020 Wild West Escape Rooms.
The grounds where this event is held include the Old Abilene Town Main Street – which is home to the Alamo Saloon, Merchants Hotel, W.R. Wilson General Store, Great Western Cattle Co. (model replica of historic Abilene) and many other buildings. Every weekend from April through October our grounds are active with gun-fighting reenactments by the Old Abilene Town Gunfighters. Beginning in May Can-can dancers perform on the weekends at the Alamo Saloon.
Directly to the north, the Abilene Smoky Valley Railroad has weekend excursion train rides. The train departs Abilene eastbound for a 10½ mile round trip through the Smoky Hill River Valley to the neighboring community of Enterprise, KS.
Visit the Dickinson County Heritage Center, the Greyhound Hall of Fame, and the Eisenhower Presidential Library & Museum when in town and make an extended weekend getaway of your adventure!
